Restaurant Management – All Managers 4 day work week! 47 hours

We are recruiting for a local restaurant group who is really growing! In 2022 they are Opening 4 new restaurants in Nashville area.

Each Restaurant Manager will be responsible for leading and directing. This restaurant manager will be aware of what is needed for exceptional service and food execution, while also having a finger on the pulse of current trends in the marketplace. Each Restaurant Manager will have the true passion for the hospitality restaurant industry. We will ask this Restaurant Manager to be a strategic thought partner for the General Manager and the company.

Restaurant Manager will responsible for:

• Acting as the champion of the culture and teaching the culture protecting the culture, and hiring for the culture.

• Ensuring impeccable, hospitable service standards and following the core values of treating guests as family and being passionate to be the best in every interaction with a guest

• Collaborating with the Leadership team to develop necessary strategy, infrastructure, systems, and operations support.

• Reviewing your restaurant’s financial and operational performance daily, weekly, and quarterly as well as taking corrective action with urgency whenever and wherever needed

• Ensuring operational excellence and flawless in-store execution in areas of guest satisfaction, product quality, operational standards, facilities management, local store marketing/promotions, and community relations

• Inspirational leadership skills and highly collaborative team building ability; hands-on and authentic management style

The BOH Manager is responsible for:

All kitchen functions, including but not limited to food purchasing, receiving, preparation and maintenance of quality standards, safety, sanitation and cleanliness. And responsible for the training of employees in connection with those functions.

• Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards

• Responsible for ordering food products according to predetermined product specifications and received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are received in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures

• Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes and waste control procedures including checking and maintaining proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points

• Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations

• Work with restaurant managers to plan and price menu items. Establish portion sizes and prepare standard recipe cards for all new menu items

• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs

Requirements

• A management person needs minimum of 2 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook and expediter.
